Fantastic and revolutionary camera
The Canon R8 is an absolutely wonderful camera and truly like day and night compared to my previous DSLR (650D) that is "only" 12 years old. Very light, incredibly good autofocus in all circumstances (including active tracking of subjects, very poor light...), astonishing ISO performance (12.800 roughly compares to 800 on my old 650D and you can even go much further, especially using AI Denoise solutions), good connectivity over Bluetooth and WiFi, nearly all options and customisations you can think of, and last but not least a very acceptable price if you manage to get a deal. Very good video capabilities too and up to 40 FPS using the electronic shutter, both of which even outperform most of the flagship R cameras. Downsides are very limited compared to all that: rather small battery especially when connected to a phone (but you can use a spare one or a USB-C powerbank), no way to customise the file name of pictures. Also, the RF lenses fitting the R cameras are really good (and often good-value too) compared to their EF counterparts. Best purchase I've made in many years, I wouldn't hesitate if you were to upgrade from a DSLR or otherwise looking for a camera that's right up there with the top models costing 3 times more.
Gute Vollformatkamera.
Tolle Einsteigerkamera mit vielen Funktionen. Einsteiger deshalb weil der Sensor bei Objektivwechsel nicht geschützt ist. Außerdem ist der Akku für längere Foto- oder Videoaufnahmen etwas schwach ist. Zweitakku ist also Pflicht.
